About Taryn
Taryn was born and raised in South Africa and has spent her adult life as an expat in Australia, England, Qatar and now Belgium. Taryn has had from a very young age a passion and interest for the beauty industry, health, lifestyle and well-being. Being a vegetarian herself she chose her salon products to reflect her beliefs of no animal testing and no animal based ingredients.
Taryn has over 20 years experience in the beauty industry and has worked as a Head therapist, Salon manager and Salon owner of salons in Perth, Sydney, Cape Town, London, Doha and Lier. As well as being a therapist, Taryn spent 5 years being a lecturer and Internal verifier of an international Cidesco beauty college in Qatar.

Taryn believes that you never stop learning and growing in your field of work, especially if you love what you do. Taryn‘s vision for Sereen is to have a natural, organic and calming ambience where clients feel relaxed, welcomed and their needs and wishes are heard.
Taryn believes in treating clients holistically with inner and outer health being considered as well as lifestyle, when creating and discussing your individual treatment plans.
Each person and their journey is unique, so no skin journey will be exactly the same. Being a vegetarian, Taryn is aware of the impact of harmful chemicals frequently added to beauty products and the impact on dermal or inner health.
Taryn specifically only uses products that don’t include harsh chemicals, are natural ingredient based and are not tested on animals, while still achieving great results. It is Taryn’s aim to have her clients enjoy their treatments and leave feeling happier than when they arrived, having healthy and lovely looking skin / nails/ lashes and brows.
